BIO
Tom is the founder and co-director at solo16 and has been working in TV and video production since 1997.
TV - Tom specialises in news and current affairs. He has filmed numerous royal events, conducted
interviews with prime ministers and cabinet members,
and managed sensitive live and pre-recorded
assignments. Tom frequently films for both national
and regional news programmes, also taking on roles
as a technical director and video director.
He is an RTS award winner.
CORPORATE - Tom produced his first corporate
video nearly 30 years ago. He has successfully shot,
edited, and directed a diverse range of projects,
from straightforward company profile films for
small and medium-sized enterprises to large-scale
multi-camera web broadcasts.
Tom's attention to detail is one of the reasons why our
clients keep coming back for new projects.
SPECIALIST SKILLS
Tom specialises in multi-camera production and is a certified drone pilot. He frequently contributes live drone footage for BBC Breakfast and network news.
With extensive technical expertise in web and television broadcasting, Tom is often engaged by other companies to direct and offer technical guidance for their events.
Tom's neurodiversity allows him to have a very focussed and detailed eye when working on all projects.
